Life:

Well, I haven't done one of these since early July and I am LONG overdue.  Just let me say, life has been full of both the everyday and other.

I've had a birthday, my dad made his fourth attempt on his life, and my dad got a high-energy dog that I've ended up in the training role for.  Plus there's work and family outings whenever we can squeeze them in.

What I've been reading lately:

I'm not sure what I read this past week and what was before.  So I'll just list some of what I've been reading for the past few weeks.

Dark Oracle and Rogue Oracle (Delphic Oracle, Bks 1 & 2) by Alayna Williams

Bastion (Collegium Chronicles, Bk 5) by Mercedes Lackey

Hearts and Swords (4 Celta/Heart series short-stories/novellas) by Robin D. Owens

Shadow of the Alchemist (Crispin Guest Medieval Noir, Bk 6) by Jeri Westerson

The Proposal and The Arrangement (Survivors' Club, Bks 1 & 2) by Mary Balogh (Canadian Author)

Loose Ends (Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery, Bk 1) by Terri Reid

Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill

Upcoming:

I'm going to try to squeeze in the book club book, The Giving Quilt (Elm Creek Quilts, Bk 20) by Jennifer Chiaverini.  Though that means skipping books 1-19 in a series.

And I should be reading Cover Story (Ashton Corners Book Club Mystery, Bk 3) by Erika Chase soon for a paperbackswap game.

What have you been reading?

    1. Except for this one, I'm actually current with this series. It's a shock. Of course only being 3 long might be part of that.

  3. Sorry life has been so busy. Glad to see you here. Hope you get time to join in for your book club read. And that life calms down a bit.

    1. Busy isn't all bad. But it does mean choices and time management are necessary. =)
