Comments:

I needed another audiobook (I can listen to them when I'm scheduled for the back workroom at work or when I'm walking the dog, or when I'm driving to and from work... I've become something of an addict.), and I'd just discovered kids (fantasy) books can be great in audio format.  I've wanted to read this for awhile (I've put off watching the movie all this time until I had a chance to read it), so this seemed the perfect time.

I really enjoyed the stories (they reminded me a bit of the Lord of the Rings stories), and I loved the convenience of having the books together so I could listen to them one after the other.  Now I need to watch the movie.  And at some point I'd like to check out the print books since I missed the illustrations.  I'm also checking out Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles (also in audio).

Sidenote: The narrator's name sounded familiar to me so I looked him up.  He's Luke Skywalker! Duh!  How did I not know that?
