    1. I graduated a few years ago (the end of 2008! How time has passed!), but the job was harder to come by. Best of luck with your own future.

      And thanks!

  4. Congrats! I thought you missed the interview. Either way, I am so glad you have the position. :) AND it's full time. As far as reading goes, I just finished the second book of the Newsflesh Trilogy by Mira Grant. Our library doesn't have book three or that's what I'd be read (okay, listening to) next. I finally got around to Yasmine Galenorn's Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series. I didn't think I'd be continuing with the series after book two, but there I was, downloading the next book.

I look forward to your new perspective! ;) This is going to be fun.

    1. No, I made the interview, though there was some confusion. And yes. The position and full-time. A double blessing. I'm seeing it in benefits an my first paycheck (today!).

I read Witchling, Changeling, and maybe Darkling (can't quite remember) in the Yasmine Galenorn Otherworld series before I stopped. Something about it bothered me. I don't remember what.

    2. Jo, I wonder if it was Darkly, the third book. I don't like it very much. Heck, I don't like the vampire sister at all! The only reason I'm listening is the Moon Witch sister is next. (The story told from her POV and I really like her.) Oh, and I like the general story/plot of this series. If I could skip the books with the vamp sister narrating, I would. I'd lose too much of the story...sigh.

    3. That may have been it. ::shrug:: Hopefully book 4 makes reading book 3 worth it for you.

  6. Congratulations on your new position! It sounds like you've been reading some good books even if you aren't reading as much. I think that The Diviners sounds like a good read and I'm looking forward to reading it myself :)
