It's Monday! What are you reading? (3/22/2010)

This meme is now hosted by Sheila @ One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.
Reviews/Discussions/Challenges:
Read AND Reviewed:
Just Read:
  • Dream Man by Linda Howard (re-read)
Currently Reading:
  • The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Brazen Virtue by Nora Roberts (re-read)
  • After the Cure: The Untold Stories of Breast Cancer by Emily K. Abel and Saskia K. Subramanian
This coming week:

I've given up trying to predict my mood, and I've been finding it more and more difficult to read what I should (because of due dates, etc.). Technically I shouldn't be reading at all until after Wednesday, but I don't have that much resistance. So, for this coming week... who knows?

  1. I hadn't heard of Town in a Blueberry Jam, but the title has drawn me in! I'll be checking it out! Enjoy whatever you choose to read this week!

  5. I hope you enjoy The Hobbit. I prefer The Lord of the Rings myself. Sprinkle With Murder sounds like an enjoyable mystery. I liked your review and I am a big fan of cupcakes. I can't believe you studied forensics. That is so interesting. I bet it gives you a different perspective when you read suspense books compared to someone like me who only has her CSI watching experience.

Hope you have a great reading week.

  7. Jennifer - I hope you enjoy it if you do read it. I agree, the title has definite draw.

Lydia - It is fun so far. I need to just focus on it, but so far I've been mostly reading it when I'm out and about waiting on something/one or other.

Sheila - It wasn't my best week as far as numbers, but the books were all interesting.

Nina - Thanks, hope you have a great reading week as well. =)

Christina - I'll start with the LOTR books once I finish Hobbit. I'm happy to hear I have something to look forward to.

I really enjoyed Sprinkle with Murder. And how could anyone not love cupcakes? ;p

They set up a forensics minor while I was there, so I took advantage of it. It was interesting... if gross at times (Like picking maggots off dead pigs and raising them up to flies), but it could be fun; they had us watch a CSI episode and identify the mistakes/unrealities in the show.

Sarah - I am! I'm still pretty early on though. They just had some trouble with trolls. =)
