I'm trying to find a nice short Christmas-y book before Tuesday book club. A mystery would be great. Or a romance. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteHere's my It's Monday!
Ah, well. I'm not great with recommendations.
DeleteMost of the Christmas mysteries that come to mind are parts of series, and I don't know if that matters. And I tend to pick Christmas romances up on a whim. But for Christmas-y mysteries you might browse Christmas Mystery Book List or Christmas Mystery Book List Recommendations on Cozy-Mystery.com.
I enjoy watching Grimm :) I hope your tummy thing resolves quickly
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific week,

When Grimm and Once Upon a Time came out I watched the first episode of both - and stuck with Grimm.
DeleteI'm hoping last night was the worst of it.
Sorry you are not feeling well! Your books look good.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I didn't get as much reading in as i would have liked, but I enjoyed them.
DeleteI am sorry you don't feel well. :( The Victoria Abbot books look good!
ReplyDeleteThanks and they were.
DeleteI have caught a couple episodes of Grimm so far and have really enjoyed them. Hopefully I can catch up soon. I haven't read anything my Abbott, I definitely be looking into them. :) Hope you are enjoying all your books.

It's definitely worth catching up on Grimm.
DeleteAbbott is a mother/daughter writing pair and I'd read the mother (Mary Jane Maffini)'s writing before, so I knew going in they should be enjoyable. (I think I forgot to mention that in my posts.)
Thanks for visiting and following.
How did I not know there was a Grimm book?! I am obsessed with that show. I was living in Portland when it premiered and now I watch it because 1) it's amazing and 2) I miss that city and love looking at it weekly. Haha
ReplyDeleteI can't remember where I saw the new Grimm book mentioned, but I'm so happy I did. =)
DeleteI'd love to visit Portland.
Wait. What? There's a book on Grimm? Why did I not know this?
ReplyDeleteNot only is there a Grimm book, but there is a second one due out in February!
DeleteThe Victoria Abbot books have such warm & cozy covers that they make me want to curl up with a good mystery book immediately! I think I'll have to go and borrow some Christie from the library soon...
ReplyDeleteDon't they? And I felt the same way about Christie - and Sayers, too.
DeleteIsn't it funny that there's a perfectly good dog bed on the second book and yet the dog is on the couch?
Hold the phone! A Grimm book! Must read!
ReplyDeleteI still need to grab those Victoria Abbott books. I love, love, love cozy mysteries!
Enjoy!
That's how i felt when I saw a Grimm book was being published.
DeleteAnd I'm a huge cozy fan too. =)
