Life:

I'm sick, again.  Apparently I can't shake this.  I've had a fever and been hacking.  I went to a family Christmas thing Friday, telling them I was just coughing but not contagious (I really believed that at the time!).  Then I had to leave work early Saturday, was sick all Sunday, and called off for today.  I'm guessing bronchitis, though I can't say for certain since no insurance means no doctor visit.  But I've been sleeping a LOT.  And not reading much.

What I read this past week:

I didn't finish anything.  Hence no Cozy Cull this week.

What I posted this week:

Beyond Courage : The Untold Story of Jewish Resistance During the Holocaust by Doreen Rappaport; Read by Jeff Crawford and Emily Beresford

Currently Reading:

A Casual Vacancy by J. K. Rowling; Read by Tom Hollander (library audiobook copy)

A Spoonful of Murder (Soup Lover's Mystery, Bk 1) by Connie Archer (library copy)

Sketch Me If You Can (Portrait of Crime Mystery, Bk 1) by Sharon Pape (personal copy - this will be the next Cozy Cull Book)

Upcoming:

Finish Sketch Me If You Can and post the next Cozy Cull Giveaway.

I got Monday and the Murdered Man back through ILL, but it's due on the 14th so I need to hustle and read it lest I have to return it unfinished again.  I don't think I can get it a 3rd time.

    1. Thanks. And they ought to if I can just stay up long enough to read them.

  4. The Casual Vacancy is what I like to call a "chewy" book. I put it on hold until vacation time. :) Hope you feel better soon!

    1. I don't know what I'm going to do about it. It's due on Friday, and since it is a hold book I can't renew it. I can't say I love it so far, but I would like to finish it... we'll see...

  5. Feel better! Taking care of yourself is much more important than reading. Of course, when you're better then you can read until you're sick of it!

  7. I miss reading murder and mystery novels. :) It's been quite awhile. Do drink lots of fluids, and here's hoping you feel better soon. Enjoy the rest of your reading week.

  8. Oh how I hope you feel better soon. The last three years in a row I had bronchitis. How I know is I finally went to the doctor after my daughter got it this last time and that's what they said we both had. :( It takes forever to get over it too, at least with me. Try to drink orange juice if you can. Apple cider also helps with me. We are trying apple cider pills this year to see if that helps.

  9. Praying you feel better soon. I had this about 2 weeks ago and I slept a lot!! Finally got over it but it took me about a week. Thankfully nobody else got it who didn't already have it. I got it from my siblings and they had it longer than I did. Finished my book from you the other day and it was pretty good. I don't read a lot of mysteries but I love a good one:)
