I know what it's like when you have a book on your want to read list forever. I hope when you get to it you enjoy it as I am. I've seen some fantabulous reviews and some not-so-great about it.
DeleteI just started the most recent of the Flavia de Luce books. My favorite book was Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson Please come see what I'm reading now.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to keep doing this series in audio, so it can be slower going than reading print. Eventually, though I'll get caught up to the most recent.
DeleteI've never read Bridge, which is kinda crazy :( I hope you enjoyed your books this week!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of those classic children's books I felt I needed to read.
DeleteGreat reading week for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks, although some of those I just posted but read last week.
DeleteIf Fried Chicken Could Fly looks delightful....enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten very far into it yet because life has been distracting, but it seems like it's an especially cozy sort of cozy.
DeleteYou've read 2 books I'm interested in myself, Time Untime and Bridge to Terabithia. Although, recent Sherrilyn Kenyon books have disappointed me, I still don't want to give up on the DH series :-)
ReplyDeleteI do prefer some of the earlier ones. I think they started be less than I hoped at Bad Moon Rising. But I'm still interested in the characters, and they aren't bad (IMO) so I'll keep reading.
DeleteBlood Bath and Beyond sounds like fun! I loooove the title.
ReplyDeleteIt was. I liked the title as well, especially when I looked it up for the cover image and saw all the other resulting images.
DeleteHi I just stumbled across your blog and I love it. We share so many similar tastes that I just had to become a follower of your blog. I love cozy mysteries too. I hope you will find the time to come over and check my blog out. Hope to see you there and Happy Reading!

PS: The Flavia de Luce series is one of my favorites. I really hope you enjoy the first one.
Thanks for following! I'm always happy to find another cozy lover. I did enjoy the first, and I'm working my way through the second. I just love Flavia's spunk.
DeleteBridge to Terabithia is an amazing book - AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteWhatcha readin' this week @ the Brunette Librarian :)
I don't know that I would have said amazing, all caps, exclamation point. But it did have some thought provoking moments and some moments that I responded strongly towards.
DeleteLast Wool and Testament sounds so good. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt was good. Not quite what I was expecting since I avoided reading the description, but good.
DeleteSaw the Sherrilyn Kenyon book in another post...off to check it out!
ReplyDeleteMost of these books are new to me but sound/look interesting!
ReplyDeleteI can't bring myself to pick up Bridge to Terabithia- I watched the film thinking it was a light hearted fantasy and well...... Needless to say I wish I'd realised the truth before I watch!
Hope you had a great week
