Comments:
Amity rescues a stranger (Benedict) while abroad, tends his wounds, finds him to be an interesting companion, and then they split up and she returns home to London. It is only while at home that she is truly in danger. But Benedict returns and they team up (along with Amity's sister and Inspector from Scotland Yard) to catch the serial killer known as the Bridegroom.
I liked both main characters (Benedict may not have had quite as much of the appeal that I so love in JAK/AQ/JC's heroes, but he was still likeable). And I enjoyed the story and the romance, as well as the side characters and romance. They were all very charming.
I look forward to the next book due out, The Hot Zone (Rainshadow, Bk 3) by Jayne Castle.
