Why this book?:
I had just finished Woof at the Door; I was interested in Grace's story and wanted to read more.
Comments:
So this time around Grace is called out to a rescue to check on a Tiger that isn't behaving like himself. In the process she learns of a girl who is apparently missing. No one is looking into the girl's whereabouts though, and Grace is concerned enough to start investigating.
I like Grace, despite the fact that she can be a little but of an anti-trust ninja. I like Kai (romantic interest and detective). I love the animals involved in the books/stories. There are some (too many) assumptions made, but not too many for me to handle. And not everything surrounding the mystery is as it seems, which is nice.
I look forward to a book 3 (next summer?).
