Comments:
Celeste Bradley is an author I know I like, though I haven't read any of her books in awhile. So I saw this and I couldn't resist despite it being in the middle of a series. I was in the right mood and it sounded good and...

As expected I enjoyed it. I found it emotional at parts and overall a great feel-good kind of book. And I was surprised by one revelation torwards the end. I somehow hadn't guessed at all.

Anyway, my post is delayed so I can't think of anything else to add, but that I'm going to have to make a point to read and re-read more of Celeste's works relatively soon. It's been years.

  1. Now you have me wondering if our local Dollar General stores carry books. I know they sell magazines. I've gotta check it out now...lol.

    1. Oh yes. There are three DGs in my hometown, and each has different books. I'll occasionally visit each to see if they got a new supply. Though costs did go from $1/book to $3. =(

But I thought you aren't reading print?

    2. Oh I'm reading print. There's still books on my shelf. I'm not buying print though, but that doesn't stop me from looking. If I find something that sounds interesting, I'll go to Amazon for the eBook.

The different books at each store sounds odd, doesn't it? I'd think they'd be like Walmart or other chains. What you see at one, you'll find at the other.

    3. They have different owners and everything (or at least 2 owners between the 3 stores). As I understand it there's a surplus of this book or that and so they can buy them at discounted prices and (presumably) in bulk.
