Comments:
I read and enjoyed Quickstep to Murder by Ella Barrick, but I didn't realize that was the same author as Laura DiSilverio until after I bought this. I put off reading this for quite some time, in part because I owned it so it immediately fell in the "No Rush" category. In part I didn't like Kevin James's Paul Blart: Mall Cop movie and that popped in my head whenever I picked this up. But I got this idea for a regular giveaway featuring a cozy I already own and need to read, and this was right there in front of me.
I'm glad I finally picked it up because I really enjoyed it. I liked EJ and her background. I found some of her interactions amusing and others as frustrating as she did. Plus, I enjoyed the mystery itself. I had a bit of a break from cozies, but now I remember why I like them so much. I look forward to reading the second book, All Sales Fatal, which I've requested my library purchase.
Like in Borders is closed kind of sale?
ReplyDeleteOnce again, love the book's cover. I wanted a segway, but this would be me: http://youtu.be/fU7_EXtQoDo
Yeah, when they closed. It's been awhile.
DeleteI'd LOVE to have a Segway. And I think I'd manage not to fall/crash...mostly.
