It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (7/23/2012)

Hosted by: Sheila @ Book Journey

(If you'd like to participate you can go here.)

In the past week I've read and posted:

and

and

The Bear Who Shared by Catherine Rayner -

A children's book.  I read this one to my niece.  It wasn't as fun as I hoped, but cute enough.  The wise bear waits patiently for a plorringe to fall to him, while a raccoon and mouse try (unsuccessfully) to reach the plorringe.  It falls; bear, being wise, shares and makes two new friends by his actions.

Currently reading:

The Thirteenth Chime (Sense of Truth, Bk 1) by Emma Michaels (ILL library copy)

and

Seal Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy Seal Sniper by Howard E. Wasdin & Stephen Templin; Read by Ray Porter (Audiobook library copy)

This week's reading possibilities include:

The Scarlet Pepper
A Deadly Grind
The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie
The Cat Sitter's Pajamas
Dead Man Waltzing
The More the Terrier
The Azalea Assault
Gregor the Overlander

A Fitting End
The Hollows Insider : New Fiction, Facts, Maps, Murders, and More in the World of Rachel Morgan

I don't foresee getting much reading done this week, as I have a busy week ahead of me.  But maybe I'll surprise myself and cut through some of these library books.

    1. It makes me want to know more too. I still haven't figured things out yet.

  2. Now that my youngest can read, I'm reading far fewer children's books. My favorite read last week was Amulet, Vol. 5: Prince of the Elves (audio) by Kazu Kibuishi. Please come see what else I'm reading.

    1. Even if I wasn't reading to my nephews and niece, I'd still read children's books. There is just something about one that is well done.

    1. That's the problem. They all sound like great titles...that makes picking difficult. ;p

  6. Thanks for dropping by and visiting!
I agree about giving up on the Alex Kava Maggie O'Dell series. Too much good stuff out there to read.

  7. Mercedes Lackey keeps taunting me I'll have to move her up the TBR list!
I love how big your reading possibilities selection is! I think I always jinx myself by just putting one or two as I automatically want
    read something else!

    Have a great week :)
