I Accidentally read these books...

I don't think I even mentioned it on here when I "read" The Accidental Werewolf.  I skimmed and jumped through it quite a bit, and I don't think I was hugely impressed (I read it earlier this year but my memory is already vague).  Anyway, I couldn't quite make myself give up the next two, which I already owned via, without reading them.  So I read Accidentally Dead and The Accidental Human.
They were fine.  Each took a turn keeping me up when I should have been sleeping.  But I had to skip some with both of these as well.  I found Nina of Accidentally Dead whiny and Wanda, the heroine of The Accidental Human annoying because she refused to share what was going on with her friends.  But something in the books must have been good enough to keep me reading, and quickly.

  1. I understand about not being able to make yourself give up a book. I have a few on the shelf like

Too bad. Both looked like they had such potential.

  2. I think a lot of people loved them, so maybe it was just me. I had it set in my head that the first one was mediocre, so I might not have given these a fair chance.

  3. I followed the link to PBS and some of the readers felt as you did. I'll pass on this one. :)
