It's Monday! What are you reading? (2/8/2010)

This meme is now hosted by Sheila @ One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.

This past week I posted:

Trick or Treat Murder by Leslie Meier
Evernight by Claudia Gray

I read and posted:

Back to School Murder by Leslie Meier
Valentine Murder by Leslie Meier
Christmas Cookie Murder by Leslie Meier
Turkey Day Murder by Leslie Meier
Work Hard. Be Nice.: How Two Inspired Teachers Created the Most Promising Schools in America by Jay Matthews

I am currently reading:

Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison

I'm also scrambling to catch up on homework. I'll mostly be reading text books for the next few days.

I hope to read:

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien (if I can find it)
Real Vamps Don't Drink O-Neg by Tawny Taylor

and any of the MANY library books I have checked out.

  7. Of all the books you listed, I've only read The Hobbit. In fact, I've never even heard of the rest, but you know, that's kinda how my book list is for everyone that stops by my blog. LOL.

I'm so going to have to check out the books by Leslie Meier since you seem to have enjoyed them enough to read so many. Thanks for new ideas!

  9. Oh I love Kim Harrison!! I need to read the Hobbit sometime this year. I read The Lord of the Rings years ago, but didn't read The Hobbit at the same time for some silly reason. Good luck with your reading and homework!

  10. Zia, Kristen, Amanda (part 1) - I am enjoying the Kim Harrison book. Perhaps more than I should be, since I'm supposed to be writing a paper, not reading. =)

Alaine - Thanks and I hope you enjoy Evernight.

Sheila, Jennifer, Hannah, Laurel-Rain Snow - The Meier books fit the Fall / Winter Mystery Challenge I'm participating in. It ends this month, and I was running behind, so...

    Ruth - Thanks and likewise!

Amanda (part 2) - I signed up for a LOTR Read-Along so I could finally motivate myself to read them. The Hobbit was supposed to be read in January, but I discovered the read-along late.
