I also have some standing series that I've been working on that I already know are Canadian - such as Louise Penny's Gamache series or Alan Bradley's Flavia deLuce series. And then there are some publishing lines I know are Canadian... anything Orca Footprints or Rapid Reads, for instance. It somewhat pokes at some of the other stereotypical stories, is from a teen perspective, and I've been told the prime video season is worth watching - after reading both volumes one and two to avoid spoilers because it does not follow the same timeline.<br /><br /><i>Code Girls</i> is actually pretty fascinating. I've been especially enjoying hearing just how large a role women played in the war effort. I can deal with some change, but I hope the overall feel isn't too different.<br /><br />I'd never heard of estivation, so I was very interested. Some of examples actually do both - estivate and hibernate. Who knew?<br /><br />The pattern is a compromise, because I would like them all clustered together, but it is SO difficult and time consuming to get them to cooperate... <br /><br />I especially liked the way you categorized your books.
