Why this book?:
It's JAK.
Comments:
JAK has returned to her roots, with no paranormal or psychic anything.
Lucy's aunt and partner have died and she's inherited her aunt's house and stock in the partner's family's company. She's found the body of the boy who prompted her departure from the area 13 years prior dead in her aunt's house (talk about skeletons in the closet - er, fireplace). She's being pushed to sell - the stock and the house. And Mason, source of her younger self's crush, is there to help.
Much as I enjoy the paranormal stuff, it was nice getting back to basics. As always, I look forward to reading more by JAK/AQ/JC. Including the next Amanda Quick due out, Otherwise Engaged.
