I was searching for something else in the catalog and a title by this author came up. The book has a librarian character and is a mystery, so I figured why not try it?
Comments:
I didn't really know what to expect when I started this book. I had read a description originally, but i couldn't remember what it said. All I remembered was that one of the primary characters was a librarian.
Meg is a librarian, but she hasn't quite started her new job - she's just moved to the area. So instead of being a librarian working in a library setting, she's putting her skills to use to help with some very local murders and mysteries.
Every once and awhile there would be a line that would just absolutely throw me out of the story they were so awkward and yoda-like. But they were few and far between.
I enjoyed this book despite I intend to continue the series with the 2nd book in the series, An Old Chaos.
