It's that time of year. Challenges are cropping up everywhere. I have mixed reactions. Part guilt because I pretty much gave up on all 2010 challenges I had signed up for. And excitement, because they look so fun!
I'm pretty sure I'll be participating in the 2011 E-Book Challenge. I got a Sony Reader for Christmas last year, and haven't used it for the last several months. I wouldn't want my parents to think I don't really appreciate it. So that challenge will be perfect. And of course I'm going to want to participate in one or two genre challenges (mystery, paranormal, urban fanatasy, etc.). But I'm going to pick lower levels this time - even if I think I can do more.
And, to start things off right, I think I'm going to make a new Challenges page. If I make it right at the start, maybe I won't be overwhelmed trying to catch up.
Thanks for joining the E-Book Reading Challenge! It's going to be fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping so! Thanks for hosting it!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Vintage Mystery Reading Challenge! I hope you have a good time reading those classic mysteries. I can't wait to see what everyone reads.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the Harlequin/Silhouette challenge. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that I have put up a Progress and Review post for the Vintage Mystery Challenge. You will find it at http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/01/vintage-mystery-progress-and-review.html OR I have put a button on my home page that will take you right to it.
ReplyDeleteI would appreciate it if, when you finish a book for the challenge, you would either leave a comment at the post or email the relevant info to me here at phryne1969 (at) gmail (dot) com. That way I can keep track of my challengers and try to be prepared when you're ready to claim a prize. And, I'll admit it, I'm really curious to see what you all decide to read for the challenge and maybe everyone else is too!
Good luck!
