To all the eBook lovers out there....

How do you do it?

I have a lovely Sony Reader.  It ranks as one of my top 5 Christmas gifts ever.  But I cannot for the life of me keep it charged.  (I have the same problem with my MP3 player and to a lesser extent, my cell phone.)

I've only read 1 e-book this year (despite being determined to read more) in large part due to just not keeping it charged.  Then I leave it at home, because I can't turn it on anyway, then I just don't read anything on it, etc.

So how do you manage?  And why does such a stupid little thing have to make me so technologically behind and challenged?

Since they cozy challenge ended I've still been reading mostly cozies with a couple paranormal romances tossed in.

I'm currently reading How to Wash a Cat by Rebecca M. Hale.  This is the first attempt that has made it past the 1st chapter (I've a few false starts over the past year), so I'm good for now.

So I had a fantabulous birthday (complete with awesome books at sale prices).  And I was actually surprised (though I'm not sure why) that readers and cupcake enthusiasts apparently like to relax on their birthdays.  But enough of that.

It's my birthday!  And I'd like to invite you to celebrate it with me.

I'm having a cupcake giveaway.

The giveaway includes the first 2 Jenn McKinlay Cupcake Mysteries (used), Sprinkle With Murder and Buttercream Bump Off, a cupcake table runner, a cupcake clock (battery not included), a cupcake bag, three cupcake picture holders, cupcake recipe cards, and various cupcake stickers and notepads.  Nothing real expensive, but I think it's all cute.  And I loved the first Cupcake Mystery (I'll be re-reading that and reading the second before I send this).
