What are you reading on Mondays? (10/19)
Hosted by J. Kaye (@ http://j-kaye-book-blog.blogspot.com/).
Books I completed this past week are:
Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich
Ghost Dog by Eleanor Allen (Children's Book)
I forgot to add -
This Is the Pumpkin by Abby levine (Illustrated by Paige Billin-Frye)
Sheep Trick or Treat by Nancy Shaw (Illustrated by Margot Apple)
It's been a really slow reading week. Partly because I spent some time skimming and re-reading parts of books (stories I've already read this year).
Currently Reading:
Bear-ology: Fascinating Bear Facts, Tales & Trivia by Sylvia Dolson
Amaryllis by Jayne Castle
and the most horrible, dreaded...
Java Programming: From Problem Analysis to Program Design (4th Edition) by D.S. Malik
Upcoming books:
Plum Spooky and Finger Lickin' Fifteen by Janet Evanovich
Shifting Love by Constance O'Day-Flannery
Written In Blood and Dead Write by Sheila Lowe
And hopefully some of the following library books:
Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Black Hills by Nora Roberts
The Summer King by O.R. Melling
Sideshow by Anne D. LeClaire
boys that bite by Mari Mancusi
Great list, well I would skip the Java Programming. ;) Happy reading.

Java Programming would leave me completely lost, of course, but the Bear-ology I would love -- I always enjoy animal books. I should probably look for that one to share some of the facts and trivia with the kids!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, with a big exam tomorrow, I don't have a choice about the Java book.
ReplyDeleteThe Bear-ology has a lot of cool facts. About bears in general, famous bears, even fictional bears (like Winnie the Pooh's bday and how he got his name). And it's current (2009). I'll review it when I finish.
Best of luck on your exam tomorrow! About your reading list...I really want to read a book by Sheila Lowe.
ReplyDeleteHi Jo! Looks like you are really doing good with the Evanovich books! I've got to get working on those!
ReplyDeleteThe Java book sounds "dry" by the title but who knows? I loved that futuristic series by Castle!
J. Kaye - I really enjoyed her Poison Pen (the 1st in the series).
ReplyDeleteMartha - I love both of the Castle futuristic series. I always wonder how it is that the St. Helens series only lasted 3 books while the other one is still going, though.
